What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Operations Director to build out and run our global sales operations in a fast moving, monthly driven sales and marketing organisation. The Sales & Marketing Operations Director will refine and manage the end to end lead to sale back office processes, ensuring data quality across all processes, managing and reporting on key Sales & Marketing KPI’s to the leadership team and owning and managing the day to day operational workload of the Sales and Marketing functions.
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to come into an established but rapidly growing business and put their knowledge and best practice into place to lead the operational aspects of company’s growth plans over the next 3 years. We’re looking for someone with creativity, drive and passion, who has an eye for detail and will relish the flexibility and opportunity that a start-up environment will give them.
Responsibilities:
The Sales & Marketing Operations Director will be:
- Planning, forecasting and budgeting in order to drive forward the business goals
- Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Leadership to define and agree the ideal performance measurement KPIs and management programs
- Working with the country managers on a daily basis to ensure the appropriate disciplines are applied to deliver the required data quality across all operational systems
- Able to understand the business to a degree where they can spot trends in the operational data & KPI’s to make decisive interventions and recommendations and proactively solve bottlenecks before they occur.
- Working closely with Marketing to assist in operationalising the inbound marketing leads and qualification process, provide operational support for marketing campaigns, measuring effectiveness and managing the timely follow up of all inbound leads.
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies and solutions to keep the company aligned with industry best practice
- Creating and managing the processes required to fully automate pricing, approvals, contract issuing, comp plans and commissions
- Creating and managing the systems used to assign and manage target accounts and territories to ensure the sales & marketing functions align resources on clearly defined geographies, industry sectors and these are allocated appropriately.
- Analysing trends within data to potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
- Creating and presenting regular performance reports for senior leadership and assisting in the production of board and investor reports..
You will have:
- At least 10+ years of experience working within sales and marketing operations ideally with experience at a fast growing start up and enterprise business.
- Proven success planning and managing at both strategic and operational levels.
- Proven experience of implementing change successfully for a previous organisation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
